Prep & Recommendations

Bathroom:

1. Washable
2. Strippable
3. Both pasted or prepasted are ok.
4. We suggest no natural fibers or grasscloth in the bathroom as they may stain and mold.
5. No peel and stick wallpaper in the bathroom unless approved by the installer prior to scheduling.

Laundry room/Kitchen:

1. Washable
2. Strippable
3. Both pasted or prepasted are ok.
4. Peel and Stick- May be possible but the area must be viewed and accepted by the installer.

Living Room/Bedroom/Office/Hallways:

1. All types of wallpaper.

Wallpaper:

•Wallpaper should be stored lying on its side and not up on the edges. •We highly recommend ordering 10% over the estimated amount or an extra roll of paper.

•We love natural materials but please be aware that natural material wall coverings (i.e., grass cloth) are more prone to stain and discoloration.

Preparation before we arrive on site: 

Well prepped walls prior to installation are important.  

•Walls to be smooth and primed. 

•ALL walls must be prepped and primed with Wallpaper Primer such as Roman 977 wallpaper primer as suggested by most wallpaper brands, or we will not guarantee the installment.
•New construction and new drywall must be primed with wallpaper primer.

•Remove all items from the walls including hardware (toilet paper roll, towel racks, medicine cabinets, light fixtures, mirrors, artwork, curtains, etc. 

•Move furniture 3-4 feet from walls. 

•Lighting is required. 

Please be aware that some papers shrink, expand, bleed during the drying time. For best results leave the A/C and Heater off, do not bathe or create steam in restrooms for 24-48 hours. *And please don’t touch bubbles or seams!
